I’m tired and disgusted at the treatment of Pro Se litigants by some courts and some attorneys. If there is one thing I’ve learned, they are like children who don’t realize you can see all the crumbs on their face when they say they didn’t do anything. I want to be clear, I know they are not all like that, but the ones who are do a lot of damage and must be identified and disciplined.
Corrupt judges can exist because court staff, and practicing attorneys would prefer to not rock the boat, hey I understand, we all have our life and/or families. A study by the Center for Judicial Excellence found that the California Commission on Judicial Performance rarely acts on complaints by Pro Se litigants. The numbers are FAR to extreme to be explained by any lack of understanding by Pro Se litigants (for the record, I don’t believe this lack of understanding actually exist, but rather, it’s a bullying tactics used but legal insiders to suppress our voice).
For this reason, I am introducing the first entries in my line of “Pwag”, or ProSe Swag. Post cards and business cards that can be used in a variety of ways to put the legal community on notice that we will stand together to ensure that we are treated fairly.
Make a minimum donation of $2 to my gofundme campaign and I’ll send your twenty cards with twenty personalized labels to put the court on notice when you check in that you have a support team.
